Code Enforcement, Building Permit/Inspection:
	The Department of Building Inspection and Code Enforcement is responsible for enforcement of all municipal zoning ordinances and the Statewide Building Code, which was adopted for use by Municipal Council in 2004. The new Code includes many changes to the BOCA code which was previously utilized.
In-Office hours are maintained from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The following hyperlinks provide additional information regarding permits that are required for various improvements and/or alterations to property. Artisan permit: Paved surfaces, roof conductors, yard drains, etc. Building permit: New construction, property alterations Occupancy permit: Change in use of structure, new tenant Zoning permits: Change in use of structure/property Outdoors Activities Permit: Outside sales, carnivals, public events Questions about Building Code requirements and or permit requirements should be directed to codes@bethelpark.net or you may call (412) 831-6800 x. 133 or 135 The office of Code Enforcement/Building Inspection is located in the Community Services Department located on the first floor of the Bethel Park Municipal Building.
