The Port Authority of Allegheny County has recently completed a Transit Development Plan. One aspect of the Plan was to study the ridership pattern on the Library Line (47L). The results showed low ridership at several stops which are identified on page 13 of the Connect 09 Transit Development Plan Report. Those stops, which are now under consideration for elimination, are Mine 3, Monroe, Lindermer and Hillcrest.
Several residents expressed their concern over the elimination of these stops to the Bethel Park Municipal Council at the June 8, 2009 Regular meeting caucus session. Residents who would like to express their opinion on the matter may do so by writing a letter to:
