The Municipality of Bethel Park is seeking candidates for the following positions within the Public Works Department:
COMMUNITY CENTER BUILDING ATTENDANT
The Municipality of Bethel Park seeks qualified individual with 2-5 years relevant experience. Must possess and continue to maintain a valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver's License, Class B, with air brake qualifications. Work is to be assigned to assist Public Works Department for three days per week and two days a week at Community Center. Ability to perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs and must have basic understanding of building electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. Position requires scheduled shift, weekend, holiday and emergency call out work; primary snow removal responsibilities for sidewalks and walkways at the Community Center and will be incorporated into the snow call out as an alternative position. 2015 pay rate is $22.90 hour with a full benefit package.

Must possess and continue to maintain a valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver's License, Class B, with air brake qualifications. Ability to drive all size trucks including the operation of salting equipment and snowplow; to perform emergency call-out duties and snow call outs; operate equipment and power tools associated with signs operations; accomplish minor plumbing, electrical work and minor building maintenance on Municipal property, as required, and to perform medium laboring including shoveling, lifting, climbing and cleaning. 2015 pay rate is $22.80 per hour with a full benefit package.
Successful candidates must undergo a criminal background check, drug and alcohol screening as part of pre-employment processing.
