Part Time - Police Radio Communications Officer
The Municipality of Bethel Park is accepting applications for a part-time Police Radio Communications Officer. This is a 24 hour rotating shift position. Duties involve: Receiving and managing emergency and non-emergency calls for service. Dispatching police, fire and emergency services personnel; data entry regarding all calls received, municipal building security monitoring.
Qualified applicants must be a high school graduate or GED certified, have excellent verbal/communication skills, computer experience. Various certifications required, as well as, criminal history clearance. Emergency medical dispatch experience preferred. Must be capable of working rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays).
2013 Hourly rate: $21.35 per hour.
