Director of Community Services
 

Municipality of Bethel Park is seeking a Director of Community Services.  Under the direction of the Municipal Manager, the DCS directs, supervises and administers the work of the Department of Community Services which includes Public Works, Wastewater Treatment, Planning, Code Enforcement and Engineering operations of the Municipality.   Responsibilities include management of field and office operations of the reporting departments including but not limited to: street maintenance/winter snow operations, storm and sanitary sewer maintenance, wastewater treatment plant operations, parks maintenance, building maintenance, engineering, building inspection, code enforcement and planning activities.  Responsible for the departmental budget development and oversight.  Bachelor’s degree in Planning or Engineering or related field is required, Masters in Public Administration is preferred.   5+ years of supervisory/operations management experience is required.   Residency is required within one year of employment.  Salary range $83,000-88,000; salary commensurate with experience; full benefit package is provided.  Interested candidates should send resume with references and salary history to William J.
