Code Enforcement, Building Permit/Inspection:

The Department of Building Inspection and Code Enforcement is responsible for enforcement of all municipal zoning ordinances and the Statewide Building Code, which was adopted for use by Municipal Council in 2004. The new Code includes many changes to the BOCA code which was previously utilized. In-Office hours are maintained from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Artisan permit: Paved surfaces, roof conductors, yard drains, etc.
Building permit: New construction, property alterations
Occupancy permit: Change in use of structure, new tenant
Zoning permits: Change in use of structure/property
Outdoors Activities Permit: Outside sales, carnivals, public events
